Question Radiator replacement & fan removal?

I'm going to change the rad on my truck. Will I have to remove the fan to do this, and it there a special tool or way to do it? Thanks!

It all depends on how much room you want.
The more room the better.
That means the least possible damage to the new radiator.
I've done either way and personally I like the fan out of the way.
If you're by a major auto parts store you can rent the fan removal tools for little or nothing.
Peace!

OK good. I just want to know if it is possible to change the rad with the fan in place. But I'll try and get the tool beforehand.

Totally possible, all kinds of room once the shroud is loose. The FRP rad is a little more that 2x as thick as stock, bolts in 100% no issues and hopefully will make life a little easier when towing. Thanks all.
