Default Why should I reprogram ?

I have a 05 f250 that is bone stock. I have been reading alot on having the ficm and ecm reflashed. The current stratagy on my truck is. VXCF9N4 TQCI1NA. According to this forum this code needs to be rolled back. My question would be why and what will I gain from it.

Thanks

It varies from truck to truck. Allot of people see gains in stock power and mpg going back to one of the better programs.
