Default greetings

Greetings to all like minded Ford enthusiasts. I have a 2008 f150 with the 4.6L and atomatic. As I can't leave well enough alone I have started down this all to familiar path of making a good thing better. I have put on the cold air intake from K&N. Nice sounds from the engine bay. As well I have installed a cat back Magnaflow exhaust that dumps before the back tire. Nice look and awsome sounds. After installing the Edge Evolution CS I have questions. With the after market hardware on the truck do I need a custom tune to take full advantage of what I have? Does anyone know if there is a super charger kit available? I'm finding I have a truck that isn't popular with the after market. Are there sites that might offer more stuff for my truck? I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Sounds a lot like mine. I have heard of a few people who put superchargers on the 4.6s, I think they were the older ones though. As for other aftermarket I know that the mustang underdrive pulleys are the same and cheaper than the truck ones because I'm waiting for a set I can get dirt cheap.

If you dont have the air dams I would mod an intake pipe from the front that leads directly to the filter for cold air. All last week I drove with an open filter and was startled at how high the intake temps got. Went to the drag strip and couldn't do better than 17 seconds because of the IATs being 95+ degrees when it was below 50 out side.

I was wondering about intake temps. I noticed Banks engineering has cold air scoops and tubes. Maybe some more homework is in order. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, those are only usefull if the filter is boxed. The open filter is good if you are on the highway. Once you stop the temps go up quick and really only come back down if you go over 40 mph. The only thing I liked was the sound and looks of the open filter.
