The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default My Trip to Yellowstone and surrounding area.

Our annual motorcycle trip was out to the Yellowstone area this year.

Just west of the black hills we encountered some hail.

Driving through the Big Horn mountains.

Bikes unloaded.

Old Faithful.

Ahhhh, Red Lodge.

You were only about an hour from my house. I used to ride my bike up and over Beartooth Pass because it is an absolute blast.....well, on a crotch rocket anyway. Harleys have this knack for dragging the footboards on those corners.

If you ever get back there, be sure to eat at Bogart's. They have some of the best mexican food I have found in the area. Oh, and on the way to Columbus from Red Lodge, just a little south of Absarokee, there is a town (more like map dot) called Roscoe. Eat at the Grizzly Bar. The BEST steaks you'll ever have and you won't leave hungry.

That's good info to know.
Beartooth pass had approx 10 miles of road construction up by the pass on the WY side. It didn't make any biker comfortable, gravel sections everywhere.

Great pictures, 88!

We'd planned a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton toward the end of next month, but then Janet's oldest Son decided to get married again right when we planned to go. So, maybe next year.

Just come later. Heck, I'm planning on being home by Labor Day and you can come to Reed Point and watch the sheep drive and I'll take you and Janet to the Grizzly Bar.
