Default light on burner flashing

Just got my f.u. chip and burner, when I plug it in, the light on the burner flashes red and green, and I can't load any programs on the chip. Any thoughts, is the chip bad??

WHOA......................

Calm down.

A flashing LED is normal.

With PhoenixFlash open, go to the "help" option in the toolbar. Does the first listing say "registration" or "activation"? Have you entered the registration information that was emailed to you? If you have, it should say "registration". If you have not, then the software is not activated. Does the computer that you have the software on have an internet connection?

If you have already registered the PF software (but used the version of PhoenixFlash that was on the CD ROM in the FU package), go the support section of the website and download the latest version of PhoenixFlash (v. 1.7.454) and try again. The registration information should still be valid after the new software is loaded.

I didn't mean to come off as angry, I was just frustrated, I had problems getting the software to load on my computer, and now when I finally get my f.u. I have this.. I just was hoping I wouldn't have any issues, but such is life..

I have activated, and registered it, I still cannot put anything on the chip.
