Something is wrong with my Gryphon.

For the last month now i been having problems with my gryphon. When im driving down the road or sometimes when i start it up in the morning it will just go off. So i unplug it from the port and wait a few min sometimes this works sometimes it doesnt. It tells me it is connecting to bridge, then after that it says the cable is not compatiable with the programmer? Can anyone help me? Thanks for any suggestions.

What year is your truck? This COULD be the "cable issue" that was seen in pre-04 programmers.

Broderick,

I've got you on my list to call today. I'm sure it's just a cable issue and we'll get it replaced.

If you don't mind... could you get the part number of the white or yellow tag on the cable? it should be something like 900xxxx and have a "Rev. x" at the end. I need to know if it's Rev. 1, Rev. 2, or Rev. 4. If you get the wrong cable, it might make for a bad situation (for the replacement cable anyway) because the firmware is different for each cable and if it's wrong, it'll kill the new cable. If you could have that information handy when I call, it'll make things go faster.

Take care.

Make sure to get in touch the first of the week. I want to make sure we get that cable replaced soon. I'm pretty sure that's what it is and just need the version number.

Have a good weekend.

Hey Bill, its been awhile since i been on here. Med schoool is kicking my butt. Anyway about a year ago i had that problem with my gryphon and i was put on your call list. i never heard from you guys, i dont know if that was around the time that my number changed or yall were too busy and may have forgotten, no worries tho. Anyway im still having alot of issues with it and i know yall are pretty busy all the time, but if you could email me or call me about what i need to do to fix it or whatever that would be great. I remeber you saying something about the cable but that was about it. But whenever you can get back with me on it i would appreciate it a bunch! Hope you guys have a great weekend and hope to hear from you soon!
