Is that a centurion 4 door bronco? MY uncle has one with a 7.3 in it. Its a real head turner and conversation starter. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Good eye Logan', that's my '94 C-350 460 5 speed.
One of a handfull built with the manual tranny.

I've had a total of 4 Centurions, 1/2 ton and 3 1 tons, including a '95 Powerstroke version.

If your uncle hasn't already found the site, tell him to goto fourdoorbronco.com and join up.

Welcome to the site. By the looks of those Bronco pics, could that not be considered the prototype of whats now known as the Excursion?

I Just sold my bronco .... (too many vehicles)
I picked mine up at an auction for $350 in terrible shape. I had her for 6 years, and had to doctor up the rust every year.... But she ran like a clock and shifted like a dream...
I will be buying another one again someday (rust free next time). I will also be dropping a diesel in it with at least a 6 inch lift to start and an SAS.
Your broncos are beautiful and got me teary eyed...I'm sure that your rare broncos are in great hands. I wish Ford would bring them back, the bronco was the best design (especially for off road).
Welcome to the site buddy!

Yes, the four door Broncos were the great uncle to the Excursion.

Centurion had a close relationship with Ford, one story goes that Ford commisioned the 4DB to be built by Centurion pending actual Ford production.
Chevy and Ford struck a deal that Ford wouldn't compete with the Suburban and Chevy wouldn't compete with Ford's extended cab. It's a plausible story, but unconfirmed.
Regardless, Centurion four doors started showing up as early as 1984, but didn't hit higher production until '86/'87.
Ford sold them on their lots under full warranty, but most were ordered through Ford dealers.
The "rarest" 4DB's are the dually conversions, one of which was featured in a series of articles in Four Wheeler Magazine, "Project MPG" back in the late '90's.
