Grin A 40' girl that can really get you high!

This is the latest acquisition to our Emergency Vehicle collection. Meet Hawkeye!

Hawkeye is a 1981 Pierce Arrow Firetruck with a LTI (Ladder Tower Industries) 85' Ladder Tower. Power is provided by a (very thirsty) Detroit Diesel 6V92T (552 CI, 9.0L) and an Allison Transmission. She is just over 40' Long from basket to tail and tips the scales at 56,000 pounds *without* water! She was purchased in 1981 by the Upper Sandusky, OH Fire Dept. where she lived a long and useful life for almost 40 years. She was retired in late 2017 and I purchased her from Upper Sandusky in early 2018.

We've had a great deal of fun with Hawkeye. We've had her in several car shows (with a few awards received), and she has just had her debut filming in a new Sylvester Stallone film, "The Samaritan" which will be released next year. She doesn't get out much as she is a handful to manage, but we really like having her as she turns heads ANYWHERE we take her.

I hope you enjoy the photos. (And yes, that is Chip Foose!)
