Default ecm rollback?

How is the ecm rollback acomplished. Is it all preloaded on the remote programmer or does something else have to happen in order for it to work. Any help would be great

The remote programmer is sent with FICM programming. In order to do the ECM rollback, you will have to call during phone hours and set up an appointment (or if you have your truck and computer handy at the moment), get Bill to initiate a phone call and remote desktop session to convert the FICM programmer into a rollback device.

Oh okay. That makes sense, thank you. Does the ficm programmer have to be converted to a rollback device in order to retrieve the hex code so that he also can write the custom tune. I've already done the ficm reprogram and I'm just trying to figure out my next step. I've looked through the programmer as it is right now and cant find the hex code anywhere.
