Default Syn oil

Put the Valvoline Blue Syn 5w40 in my truck for the 1st time this oil change & I have to say I'm pretty impressed.

No leaks or any downside that I can see as of about 1000 miles & truck started in 25 deg temp like it was 75 deg. Pretty good for a truck that would always romp a little at anything around 40 deg.

I'll probably run this stuff year round from now on

That's the plan Dave

I got it on sale at NAPA $20 so I figure I'll keep an eye out for the next sale, the guy at NAPA told me it's usually at that price 2 or 3 times a year.

I've never used a full syn oil & was kinda leery but I'd almost swear that the engine is a little quieter...I KNOW I KNOW it's probably all in my head haha
