Default Stereo build.

Here are a few pic's of a stereo build I have recently completed. This is my first stereo build using this quality gear and the first time playing with fiberglass.

The build features:
  • Focal K2P UV Components
  • Image Dynamics IDQ12V3
  • Alpine H700
  • Sundown SAZ 1000D
  • Sundown SAX 100.4D

First thing was to make some mounts for the tweeters in the sail panels.

Little bit of fiberglass....

After some filler and paint.....

Then to mount the mids....

Next big project is mounting the sub. I decided to put it in the center consul seat bottom.

Should fit in there.........

Seat stripped, and "pan" cut out........

New bottom test fit.....

After all this I decided to ditch the passive crossovers and go active.

I decide to put the processor controller where my heater controls were originally.....

Next step was to make some mounts for it........

Test fit, needs a bit of tweaking.....

Now I need a place for my heater controls.

They should fit in the little cubby hole next to the ash tray..........

Cubby cut out and switch's held up........

Switch disassembled and face screwed on......

Switch back together.........

And everything put back together.......
