Default Burlarized in less than 60 seconds

I have an 08 F150 Lariet Supercrew. My wife was at worked, parked in the employee parking. She works for Target. They caught the theft on camera. The guy pulled up next to my truck, the passanger exited the passenger door, hiding himself from the camera. He punched the keyhole on the driver's door, opened it, went inside and yanked the center console cover and yanked out the DVD/NAV system. It took him less than 60 seconds. No damage to the vehicle except the keyhole. Insurance covered it thankfully. No broken window, didn't even take the money in the change slots, or my wife's purse. It was raining with thunder and lightning at the time of the theft. All I can say is wow!

Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry to hear that! Losing something of value is one thing... the invasion of personal space is what gets me. We came home from vacation last year and found our sons' bicycles, our leaf blower, and some other items missing from the deck in the back of our house. We've lived here 3½ years and had never had a problem before.

I hope the catch the .

Yes on the JimiJammer. I installed them on all the doors, as well as the bed gate and the hood. I THINK they would prevent access through the key hole, but I'm not sure. I know they prevent access along the edge of the handle bezel.

Thankfully, looks like they didn't damage your interior or the door itself. They certainly knew what they were doing, didn't they?

Thanks for the info. I am sure a window smash would be the result of not getting in by the key hole, but thanks for the info. At least they weren't smart enough to take the Gryphon because it was on the dash in plain sight. I was worried when I heard about it thinking I would be stuck with having to pay to return to stock.
