I'm doing the PI head swap
I am have swapped the stock 98 heads for the Romeo PI heads and the matching intake. From what I have been reading in forms everywhere I am going to need a Gryphon to run right. Rose racing pistons and scat h-beams. I think it will be about 10.6 compression but am going to shave the big bump out of the combustion chamber so will lower the compression a bit more. I have the Shorty headers "Pacesetter" and am staring at the cats wondering if I should chop them off. My question is ..Has someone here done something like this and what can I expect

Wow! Heck of a question. I imagine Bill might have some ideas on this, and, I suspect he will enjoy working on it. You need to get in touch with him.

I thought that was what the form was for.More mustang mods than truck I guess but it had a bent con rod when I bought it so you have to rip them apart and put it back together better than it was.
