The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Thanks, Lars! A box of green bagels arrived from New York about 11AM today. First time my boys have ever heard of a green bagel... and it was so normal to me, having grown up on Long Island.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

During a phone call while he was driving back from Utah, I told Billy that I'd ordered them. I also expressed a concern as to how we were going to eat 48 bagels without them going bad. He told me, "We'd better eat the green ones first because if they go bad, we'll never know."

Green bagels are very NY. They're just plain bagels, that are food-colored, but they're a St. Patty's Day tradition.

Tomorrow I need to get the majority of them sliced, vacuum sealed, and frozen. Fun, fun!

Oh boy!
What would we do if Bill wasn't at the helm?

I always have an interesting St Pat's Day. Being Irish and English I naturally hate myself
