Default New guy from Omaha, Nebraska

Hey there. I ordered my Gryphon last night for my 99 5.4 Ford supercab. I had a superchip in my previous F150 8 years ago, so I'm looking forward to getting performance back under my foot. I'm sure I'll be here asking questions so when my Gryphon gets here, hopefully loading will be straight forward. Thanks, Jumpn

Yup, putting it in your truck is dead simple, takes about 5 minutes once you know what you're doing (complete installation into the truck cab and programming the PCM). You'll like the results.

Welcome to the forum!

So warm and fuzzy in here
I keep checking email to see when it will ship. I'm hoping my truck will respond well to it. Getting new plugs and fuel filter this Friday, so I'm hopeful my gryphon will show up soon after. My truck has 98,000 on it, so it's due for some tuning up. Bought it in late July with 94,000 miles. Not sure if any maintenance had been done it before I got it. Runs good, just needs some work to ensure that it will be good to go for another 10 years. Plan on getting tranny filter and fluids changed soon, along with diffs and transfer case. Guess I better do brake fluid, power steering and radiator, and have it all taken care of, huh. That's what summer will bring.

Hi Jump N I just registered on this forum to try to find some answers. Congrats on the gryphon purchase! You will love it I'm sure! I'm going to be sending in my edge out of my '07 to PHP to have it 'reworked' for my '01 and get a couple custom tunes as well, especially once I get my bigger tires ready to go so I can correct my speedometer. If you don't mind, what custom tunes are you getting?

I think I'm going with 89 performance and 91 performance. I never tow anything, so don't think I'll use it. I'm still open to options right now anyway.

Won't those other Nebraska guys be jealous!!!!!!
