Gryphon OB cable ?

At the end of the cable where it plugs into the port it has 2 plugs. I know the big one goes in the port. What is the small one for? I didn't have one on my edge.

You can ignore the little pigtail. Edge uses that cable for more than one programmer, and the pigtail isn't used for F-150.
