Default Another Cohron Kid

I would like to take a minute to introduce our 8-year old son, Liam, who was just given his own forum account today and is very excited about it (his screen name is Funky Rooster). Don't worry... like Wil, he's only allowed to post in the Introductions section and welcome new members.

A little bit about him:
  • He's an 8½-year old 4th grader, having skipped kindergarten
  • He's REALLY into 80s music and hopes to have an 80s cover band called "BonJourney" when he's older
  • His favorite subject is probably science
  • He's vocabulary is better than most adults I know
  • He's got the greatest sense of humor (f you're already friends with me on Facebook, you've gotten a taste)
  • He really likes the Ford Bikini Girl "smiley"

A little bit about Liam from my Facebook Posts:

February 3rd: Liam has sneaked (snuck?) down behind my desk and is saying in a ghostly voice, "This is your conscience. You love Liam more than Wil. Send Wil to Antarctica. This is your conscience speaking..."

December 8: Liam just told me, "I'm not really eager to see [him]." How old is this kid??????

September 30: The quote of the vacation has to be when we were having breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Characters came around from time to time and except for a few photos, we more or less ignored them. Except Winnie the Pooh. For some reason, when he came by, Liam popped out with, "Yo, P!" as if he ...and Pooh were best buds hanging out in the 'hood. What's up with this kid? ROFL

September 10: Liam just came over to my desk. I turned my chair around and was confused when he bent down and put his head near my lap. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Talking to your eggs! Hel-LO lit-tle siblings." Then he ran off. Think he's trying to tell me something?

That's great, welcome Liam! I like the Ford Bikini Girl Smiley, too .

I tell ya, it may not mean much to some people, but reading things like this really help me when it comes to making a decision about who I want to buy products from! (And what's better is that I know that's not what you're going for)

On a different note, Corey, it sounds like y'all may be Disney fanatics like us?!?! We are headed down for the third time in less than a year for the first week in March! Maybe one day our schedules will collide and we will be there at the same time.

I think our kids are a little younger. I have a son, Clay, who will be 7 in March and a daughter, Sarah, who will be 5 in May. They are my WORLD! And I'm blessed to have a wonderful wife who understands that giving them the best life we can is the most important thing.

Thanks for sharing these things with us!

BTW, I'm also an Iraq War Veteran, so I can relate to what your son has been through.
