Hey there Chris,

When we enter our customers into UPS, we always add their e-mail and request they be notified with a tracking number. I think, sometimes, the e-mails get dumped into Junk Mail or they might just never get sent by UPS...? You SHOULD get an e-mail from UPS with your tracking info. Bill is going to try and get all pending chip orders shipped tomorrow; anyone who doesn't make it will have to be shipped on Tuesday, as we're leaving Friday for Cyclone, PA (and staying in Punxatawney -- gonna say hi to Phil, the Groundhog ).

Our goal is to be back in the four week range within the next few weeks. Unlike chip customers, Gryphon customers, have canned tunes to play with while they wait for custom tunes. Also, diesel tuning is FAR easier and quicker than gasoline tuning (something having to do with the AFR, I believe). Gasoline tuning is much more sensitive. Bill says that if a diesel customer has modifications that he's already tuned for before, he can probably get six files (standard on a chip) done in about an hour! (It would take longer for different mods like water/meth injection.) Gasoline custom tunes are much more prone to driveability issues so they take longer to write.

Even when we're back in the office and the phones are back to normal, I'm going to try and field as many phone calls (and messages) from 12-4 as possible to give Bill time to tune during the day.

The drive to PA is 14 hours each way; if he's not sleeping, he'll have his laptop -- well, on his lap -- and working so he can get custom tuning done!
