Default Do I have to leave Gryphon connected?

Just ordered a Gryphon with custom tunes. Question is after I get it installed and the truck programmed with a custom performance tune, do I have to leave the Gryphon connected or can I remove it from the truck. Only time I plan to use the on screen data would be when I change to the custom towing tune. Thanks

Once the PCM has been flashed with the new tune, you can remove the Gryphon.

You might want to keep it installed though as it allows you to monitor CHT, TFT, TC lockup, etc.
