Default EGT Probe Install

Any tips/tricks for installing the EGT probe in a 99 F250 Superduty with 7.3 engine? I see the instructions in the manual but I bit unclear where to drill the hole/etc

Thanks
Travis

Hey travis are you going post or pre turbo? Post is ok but better to be pre if you do it pre turbo look up from under your truck as if you were changing the oil. The exhaust manifold is just above and to the right or out side of the truck try to drill in the center of the manifold. Tap the hole and insert the probe and hook it up.

^^^ Just tap into the driver side manifold, wherever you can get a strait shot with your drill will work.
