Default Phoenix Flash problems, low throttle shift softening, Boost regulator.

My truck has been down for the last 5 weeks due to a striped planetary gear in the tranny. Got the tranny built and put in last night. Runs and shifts great. Quick and firm shifts. After running it a while I wanted to see if I could soften up normal driving shifts some and that is when I found out Phoenix wasn't working for me. I get it to communicate and everything but all I have in the drop down is "Blank". It has been a while sense I used it but I think it used to say something like "select file" or "upload file" or something like that and it would let me select files from my folder. I cant get that to happen anymore. I wanted to ask on here before I called Bill.

Next would be when I get it working how would you guys recommend softening an OBS shift. (no torque reduction).

Then finally I know that some people put a boost regulator on the MAP sensor so it will not defuel due to too much boost. I have custom calibrations from Bill and was wondering if this is still needed.

Thanks in advance.
John

If you've had the truck down for a few weeks, I have to ask if you've downloaded the new version of PhoenixFlash. The old version no longer works.

Go to the support tab on our website and download the new version of PhoenixFlash v.1.7.454.

No regulator needed.

Is re-registering necessary? I downloaded and still no go.
