The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default A riddle

How does one go about getting some body work and paint on his newly purchased truck before the TS Performance Event in three weeks?

It's simple. Slide the 1/2 ton engine out of the bed of the truck into the bed of a different truck.

I made the boys go out and watch their dad in case someone had to run in and tell me to call 9-1-1.

Darned if Bill didn't get it moved all by himself, though!

I was busy assembling Gryphon programmers. Should've given the boys the camera, though. Then I'd be able to show it to the emergency room doctors.

My idea would've been block and tackle with a tree.
But that one Bill had works too!
Glad no one got hurt.

Yeah, but then you have an engine at the bottom of a tree.......been there.

Those engines in full trim are heeeeaaaavy!

Put a dent in the bed of my truck just from the weight.

No! We are running out of time! We want the truck done by TS, and as for the chaos in our home -- well, if you haven't heard, a good friend is coming to GA to work with us , so we have a deadline there, too!

The boys still bring up your original idea and crack up -- back into the driveway, put the truck in Drive, and then floor the accelerator. Kills 'em every time they talk about it.

True it is a heavy bugger but lighter than cats or detroits that we've pulled out of some tractors like that before.
