If you go and look for it over on f150online there used used to be a similar problem with the canned tunes. Some of the posting was done by none other than ASEmechanic aka Bill. So hopefully by him reading these posts he is getting a clue what's going on?

I remember a tranny shudder problem that was cured by a firmware update to the Edge, but not the fuel economy going the wrong way. I can't think of a suitable search string other than "tranny shudder" (which people often misspelled "tranny shutter"), and that's giving me more hits than I care to wade through.

But you're right, if this is related, I'm sure Bill will know how to fix it.

No kidding, sound like something is reacting the opposite as it should be. If only you could get more economy by stepping down on it....I'd never have to stop for gas! Forget a hybrid, buy a big block!
