I don't have the manual for the Gryphon for 2003's, and I've never reset mine since I don't monitor it (I can get it on my dashboard display). The manual for 2004-2008 simply says to hit [Enter] twice in rapid succession to reset.

If that doesn't work, I have no ideas for you.

I have only reset mine for when I went on long trips. For mine, I just had to hit enter twice. I did this from the main display(where you view your parameters.) I looked over the 2003 manual, but didn't see anything about it. I think it would be the same.

yeah I tried that and it didn't work. I would like to reset it after each fill up. Guess I will PM Bill or Corey.

Actually, in looking at the code it seems the only way to reset it is to unplug the unit. I'll be doing a rebuild of all the firmware in the next week or two and will make sure to include the "Double Enter" method of clearing Avg. Economy.

Take care.

Thanks Bill, yeah hopefully you can fix that. It could get kind of old having to unplug and plug it back in . By the way is this an issue only for the 97-03?

Yes, 97-03 only. 04 and later are already fixed.
