The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Question A Tuning ? for Bill

I have a 07 HD FLHX 103 ci and last year I had a tuner installed from the dealership. During the install it went through extensive dyno testing(4+ hours).

My problem is after riding the bike there is a fuel smell(when shut off)? And a sooty build up in the exhaust pipes?

The question is did they tune it to rich?

Tried asking at the dealership but they want more coin to put it on the dyno again. Same was said at other dealers.

Here's another delema though, I am still getting the same mpg's as my neighbor does and he has the 96 ci motor FLHX.

Bill you don't have to answer right away if you are busy. Just thought I get a tuner god perspective.

I have found an independent that charges half the hourly rate on the dyno as the dealers do.
