Default Gryphon Dash Pod

For those of you that have the dash pod how did you afix the pod to your dash where it doesn't move? I tried double sided tape and that doesn't work.

Thanks

The dash pod should just fit between the trim spaces. Line them up with the pod just slightly forward of it's eventual ending position, press down without too much pressure, and then slide it back toward the windshield. It should snap right in with no adhesive or velcro of any kind. I'll try and post a pic of my set up by tomorrow afternoon(2005 f150 fx/4).

I initially had the old style pod for my Gryphon, and it does not "snap" into place securely. I found though, that it didn't really slide around either (at least not on my 2005 dash). Finally, I decided I wanted it to be sitting a bit more away from the vent and I put a strip of heavy duty double sided tape along the back surface of the pod (the area that's most forward on the dash) and that held it fine for me. You just really want to use the tape where two flat surfaces tend to match up well.
