Default canned tunes

I am going to be ordering the Gryphon. I want custom tunes but i am just wondering if it will be safe running the canned tunes until the custom tunes are ready?? I have a 2007 F150 5.4 with K&N CAI and Magnaflow catback exhaust.

You should be fine. The 5.4 ran lean from the factory, but i think Ford rectified this somewhere around 07.With your CAI i would stick with the canned tow tune to be safe.

The 04-05 5.4 3v had the most problems running lean from the factory. From 06 on the problem was reduced.
But.....
With any slot style MAF the tendency to be lean could happen when changing the orientation of the senser with in the intake tract from the original configuration that it was tuned for.

You should be alright running level 2 canned tow.
