Default 65 Tow on PCM...Can I still get codes??

I have a 65 tow on my PCM from PHP.

I changed my fuel filter and put an new Glow Plug Relay on my truck and now it barely starts and barely runs like on 1 cylinder or something. check engine light.

I am trying to get someone with a AutoEnginuity.

Does the truck still show codes. Any ideas?

Terry
2003 7.3 6 speed. 65 tow and a bunch of little stuff.

You should be able to get codes like normal, It shouldn't matter what tune is in the computer.

Yep, I think the only codes they would block is the overboost code. Not all codes set off the CEL.

I would go back over the installation of the GPR and fuel filter and make sure everything is sealed and connected right. Truck wont run on 1 cylinder.

Default pulled the UVCH harness connectors>>>

and checked for resistance on glow plugs. Got resistance on all glowplugs. So UVCH harness under the valve covers are connected. Still have no clue.

Default Fixed...

I installed the guts of the fuel filter backwards. Blocked the fuel to the injectors. MTNSAMMY came down from Big Bear and scanned my truck afterwards. a couple of minor codes, one for the air heater and one for the ICP that worried me a little, but the truck is running well.
Thanks,
Terry
