Default New & Confused :-)

Hey Everyone,

I have a 2002 F150 Supercrew w/ 125k miles and 5.4L engine. Currently no mods but currently looking into adding a K&N CAI, New dual exhaust and custom tunes. I've read so much on F150online, F150forum and multiple sites that I'm in information overload.

I have figured out that I want to have the dual exhaust & CAI in place before getting custom tunes so we're good there. Still trying to figure out if I want a SCT 3X Power Flash or Gryphon. I'm not a mechanic/engineer and really have no intentions of doing my own adjustments so many of the features of each will go unused. I run 87 and want to continue that because of the costs. That said I love my truck and want to get the best performance I can out of what I have. So I landed here because I've become convinced PHP is the place to be. Now with CAI, new dual exhaust and programmer I've got to go earn some money to pay for all this.

Thanks for this forum as I'm sure I will learn a lot in the days to come as I try to decide what to do next.

Welcome to the forum

The biggest thing between the sct and the gryphon is the dash display. If you want to look at the parameters I would sugest the gryphon.
