The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default I'm changing my name to John.

Because it doesn't sound like "Corey".

Or "Tony", "Jody", or "Balogna". I've been called each those on multiple occasions too. Well, maybe not "Balogna".

It's OK buddy, I'll always recognize you when I see you. (Whatever your name is.)

Yeah Cody, he already told you to get off his lawn one time...

But if you change your name our little trio will be Corey, Colby, and that other guy who's name does not fit in.

I didn't know that people in Arizona had lawns. I thought it was all sand and cactus.

There were 4 years of my life when that's all anyone ever called me...including my teachers. (92-96)

It didn't bother me a bit. I still have a friend that calls me that (the one I eat lunch with often).

One of my classmates gave me that name during the last week of 8th grade. I have no idea why, but it stuck all the way through graduation. It's how I was known by everyone.

There were variations of it that some people used....I'll let you use your imagination.

I guess you've never heard of a "dry garden," similar to those little Japanese sand gardens.
