Default First Steps

Im waiting to fly home and my Gryphon is waiting on me! WOO HOO! I looked around and noticed that I need to download Pegasus and enter the HEX code and all that jazz, but I wasnt sure if I could go ahead and plug it up to the truck and start rolling? I know I need the HEX code for pegasus and to submit but was just curious if I could do that later and install it now without any updates.

It will be ready to go once you get it. just plug it into your truck, but have a paper handy to write down your HEX code. It will pop up on the screen shortly after it turns on. Make sure you follow the instructions and have the key on when the you first plug it in, but make sure the motor is off! once you have your hex code, submit it, and you dont need to worry about pegasus until your custom tunes are sent to you.
oh and the next step is to ENJOY!

Reading the manual is the first thing you should do. Then start playing with everything else.

Yes to all of the above. And, please don't start mucking about with "custom options" until you've driven the truck a while with a tune installed and understand what you want to change. The canned tunes that come with the Gryphon are set up by an expert to improve your driving experience. Unless you have the same knowledge, there's no real reason to try to improve on them.

Got it in and running the 87 tow.

MAN! I LOVE THIS THING!!

The only I messed with was the tire size since it was different from mine. I cant wait for my custom tune now!
