For the trans firmness I can't emphasize strong enough to read and understand what your settings do before you make them. The basics are in your gryphon manual. You also NEED to make small adjustments at a time. It is very easy to think your not making a large enough change.

If it is something that developed it may be the adaptive learning still doing what it does. See if unplugging the battery for a few minutes then plugging it back in solves it.

Did you tell Bill to improve the throttle response in your update?

Yeah, send Bill a message or call them that you want those adjustments made. This goes for both of you. The throttle sensitivity and shift point changes can be made pretty easy. Just keep in mind, the longer you've had the tune the harder you might need to convince him to revisit it. Going back and adjusting tunes take time and if you've had your tunes for a while then the excuse is "Why did you wait until now to ask about changing it?" A fair question in some cases.

I got my new tunes in today and after sending bill a message while he was working on them, there isnt a throttle delay as far as i could tell. really is something to see if he will go ahead and fix it for you. I think it was worth it.

But since the 87 custom tune is not faster than the 93 canned tune, I am in the process of editing the 87 custom to my standards.
Right now I only advanced timing to 1.5, of course using 93 gas.
Tomorrow I will be advancing it to 2 and maybe mess with the spark

One question, if I am editing the custom tune, the other values of the custom tune will be the same correct?
I m asking this because when I have the 87 custom tune loaded, it idles at around 600-650.
But when I edit the custom tune, it is not at 500 idle
Good luck!
I would rather goto the master and have him change it then to do what you're doing.
Maybe there's a reason why he wrote your tune the way he did............
