Help Options wile waiting for custom tunes

Ok so I got my used griffin in the mail today and ordered my custom tunes, my question is can I run the cai tunes from my superchips cortex and plug in the gryphon to monitor trans temps and such or is that a bad idea. with my K&N intake I think I still need the MAF sensor adjusted or risk running lean?
