Just saying hello guys. I have an 05 F-150 5.4 and am looking to do some mods finally. I would love to here input on what is worth it and what isn't... I have read through lots of forums, threads already . Some of the mods I have been looking into are as follows,

As you can see I have the same truck as you... well basically , same motor at least .
I would say do them all! As of right now I have the Gotts mod with a drop in K&N and a catback exhaust, but some day I will get the efans and the UDPs in the future but I dont have the $$ right now :/
If you are wondering between the CS and the CTS they do the same things except the CTS can have a backup camera and its bigger... oh and it's touch screen. So if that is worth it to you then go for the CTS, if not then the CS will work just fine

well i'm not sure i will ever get to all of them lol. I also have to decide what is the best one to start with or do. I am wondering what people have for mileage cause my truck is about to hit 100k. Is it still worth it to do these things ? ? This is what i'm trying to figure out.

well that's a different question then ,
from what I have seen the best deal money wise is the Gotts mod, its cheap HP, most people pay less than $20 for everything. After that the Gryphon is the next best option. you wont get gobs of hp with it, but it sure makes the truck run better. I had a 2001 with 135000 miles and i put a regular gryphon on it and I noticed a big difference. so yes with that many miles it is worth it. . The other mods are nice, but I cant say which is better than the others. the UDP's and Efans seem to have about the same performance gains, but the fans are usually more expensive. The exhaust, if done right, will do a decent job of adding power and economy, but if done right it is by far the most expensive.
That help this time?

ya that does help a lot thanks for the input. I am def interested in the gotts, and programmer. The fans and udp i am just thinking about hehhe. I have read great things on the efans though. How long does it usually take for the custom tunes after you order them ? I know they ship out the Gryphon but the custom tunes come later right?

Yeah the custom tunes take a bit longer, I can't quote an exact time, and even if I could it can vary a few weeks from where I would quote, but it seems to be usually about 4-8 weeks depending on Corey and Bill's health and schedule. the Gryphon should get there though fairly quickly, like a week or two after you order.

I cant say for sure about the wait time because I don't actually work there , 3-4 weeks is common, I guess I was just thinking that over Christmastime they were fairly overloaded (more than usual), so it was taking a bit longer. They might be back down to that long now, but Corey has been sick lately, I think she went to the hospital for something this Monday and wont be back until tomorrow at the earliest, so that will slow things down again. your best bet to get a good guesstimate would be to call Bill and see what he has to say.
On another note, yeah the wait sucks, but the benefits once you get the tunes are great!
