Default custom tunes for my gryphon

hello all, finally i will be ordering my gryphon sometime this week. i have a few simple questions before i order. i plan on using the gryphon all stock/canned until i get my custom tunes...i will just play around w how to use the programmer and go through menus/options but not change anything, i just want to familiarize myself w the interface and get used to it.

as far as my tunes im gonna go with 87perf and 91/93 perf.
im not sure if i will need a custom tow tune, i tow rarely and when i do its no more than 3k lbs, usually just a pop-up camper, the hardest pulling i do is through colorado mountains but that is once a yr to go hunting, do i need a custom tune for this?

when i get my level one and three tunes, will my tire size/new gear ratio be dialed in? will i have to manually enter anything?

also, when i order i wont have my hex code right? ill get that once i receive my gryphon?

looking forward to this as ive wanted one forever.

You didn't say if you had any mods dependent on custom tunes?
The other thing is performance tunes have a max of 2500lbs for towing.
So if you have mods dependent on custom tunes then get a custom tow tune.
Your will want to find a sticky in gryphon programmers that I wrote up about hex codes and what to do with them after you get the gryphon.

And Cody - You see your HEX code on the Gryphon's screen the first time you plug it in to your truck.

the only mods i have rt now are a muffler only exhaust si/do and 33"tires, does this mean i need 3 custom tunes? and will the tire/gear ratio be included in the custom files or is that something ill need to do myself? i think the tire size is entered in mm's, is this correct?
thankx

You dont really need a custom tune for those. What you can do is buy a custom 87 and custom 93 performance and keep the canned tow. The only tune that you would need to adjust the tire size would be the canned tow.
