I am new to this forum, but been a member of f150online.com for a while now. I am origanlly from North Dakota but live in California now cause thats where the air force moved me. I am looking at getting a tuner here after the new year and looking forward to learning as much as i can about these from all of you.

I had an 82 mercury capri rs t-top. Sold it before I joined the military. Regret that cause I built it from the ground up. But now I have 1965 mercury comet caliente that I am in the middle of restoring and that is getting a built 331 with 5 speed and 9 inch rear end.

Welcome, nice taste in cars. I always liked mid-60's comets but you don't see many of them. My dad had a 64' with 289 hi-po and four speed that he sold years ago. Has wished he had it back ever since. Got any pics?

I do but not on the computer yet. Need to get them scanned in cause they weren't taken with a digital camera. This comet originally had the 289 hi-po and four speed and I could have got a numbers matching motor and tranny but not plan on putting it back to stock so I passed on the offer. I will try and get the pics loaded here as soon as I can.
