The Conversation Pit This is where EVERYTHING else goes. No subject is too mundane. How's the weather in your area? Did your kid cut his first tooth? Really, what do you think about the President? And don't get me started on Cummins and Duramaxes. Have at it!

Default 2013 f-150 tuning

So i recently traded my 07 f-150 with gryphon programmer in for a 2013 f-150 with the 5.0L. Even though this new truck has more bells and whistles and honestly has more horsepower and torque than my old stock 5.4L, i REALLY miss that truck mainly because of the programmer. So that being said, when or will Bill or Cody do programming on 5.0L? Loved the tunes they had and can see where considerable gains can be made with this new 5L. This thing has so much more potential than 100mph. It gets there fairly quick. With the 6 speed auto trans, the soft shifts could stand a little persuasion if you know what I mean.

I am pretty sure that Bill isn't tuning 5.0's yet . He doesn't have the software from what i understand. Once he gets it, if he gets it (I can't imagine him having enough time to learn and tune a whole new set of vehicles!) he will for sure let us know, but until then we have to wait

So from what i am seeing on the market the best programmer for these 5.0L engines currently is the SCT? Just not sure how it correlates from 'Stangs to trucks. Seeing a lot of good stuff from Bama tuning but they get their kicks from Mustangs. Any other reputable companies that deal with 5.0's in trucks?

I would imagine that you could call one of the 5.0 tuners and ask what they can do for trucks, Try Justin at VMP tuning, He tunes a lot of mustangs, but not only mustangs from what I can tell. Let us know what you find. Other than that I would try edge or do a quick google search and see what you can find. You could call Bill and see if he knows anyone.

Jon Lund is the best with the 5.0s.
