Default Deprogramming my Edge

I got a weird question here. I have an Edge, but it has custom PHP tunes in it. It's not a gryphon, but one of the last few Edge's to get Bill's tunes. Anyway, my question is can I somehow restore my Edge back to an original Edge the way it came from the factory?

Thanks

p.s. Cool Smilies

I assume this unit was not tuned for the truck you have now?

You can call Bill Cohron at PHP and let them know what you want to do. They can guide you through the procedure.

Very simple.

1) Return your truck back to stock.
2) Download, install, and then run Fusion (if you haven't already)
3) Select "Easy Update" to return your unit back to an "Edge" version.

If necessary, I can also set it up through Pegasus. Just call me.

Please note that this does NOT work for a unit that is VIN locked to a truck, meaning that if the unit has programmed another vehicle, the update process will fail.

This will also not allow stolen units to be updated or restored back to a usable condition.

Hope this helps.

Default Stock tune when Gryphon gets stolen

Did some searches but couldn't find any info on this so here goes.

If your Gryphon happened to get stolen while a non-stock tune was being run, is there a way to retrive the stock tune? Does Pegasus allow you to create a backup of the stock tune?

Thanks.

YES! When you plug the unit in, you could go to Utilities and Retrieve Critical Files, and it will save all your stock calibration. However, if you didn't have a programmer, it would be useless. If you're stuck in a programmed state,

1- You could go to the dealer and have them reflash your PCM.

2- You could send us your PCM and have us reflash it.

3- You could purchase another Gryphon with the insurance money, and we could recover it.
