Default Real MPG Gains

I am strongly considering buying the Gryphon. I would just like to know many MPG's gains people are getting.

Are you looking at getting custom tunes or just the "canned" tunes?

Not sure about the mpg's. I am having a hard time keeping my foot out of the gas with all the new found power.

Same here...honestly, it's the shifting and elimination of the delay when the go pedal is pushed that impresses me the most. It's hard to figure out any mileage gains for me in the winter...too many other variables.

I have the Edge, which will be a Gryphon soon, and I notice a big difference when I went back to stock for a service call at the dealer. I've had it in for so long that I forget how much it actually improved the truck. If the canned tunes are this good, how much better are the custom tunes?

That was my first true out-loud chuckle of the day, Kirt. Great way to start the week!

I don't have an F-150, but I do have an '05 Expy with the 5.4L engine. I saw an average gain of about 2+ mpg when Bill added the Gryphon to the vehicle. Right now, with winter blend fuel, it's more like 1 mpg.
