Default features and upgrades

My Evo is about a year old with an 87 performance tune. The Evo manuel says to check for new features and upgrades from time to time. Should i be doing that after I have had the Evo modified???

After the programmer is converted to a gryphon you will be using a program called pegasus. There are minor updates from time to time but there has only been one major change that required people to update and it was around 2008. But it doesn't hurt to update ever so often, sometimes the minor changes are helpful.

And, to amplify on what Longshot just said, DO NOT try to upgrade any firmware on your Gryphon with any Edge application! You don't have an Edge anymore, you have a Gryphon.

Now, what Longshot was talking about are firmware updates that PHP has generated. Yes, there have been two. Both are minor and deal with issues that you probably have not had.

However, if you really want to upgrade the firmware in your Gryphon, read this: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/gener...om-tune-3.html first! Follow the directions carefully!

Make sure you have set your truck back to stock before you take the Gryphon out of it!
