That's the question?
Why not just two if your into performance? Like 87+91 custom performance tunes?
Keep the canned tow.

ok well i was thinking again about what tunes i wanted. I think that i will go with the 87 and 91 performance tunes and keep the canned tow(thanks for the tip 88racing). I still have a couple of questions.

I was looking at the order form(got bored and started filling it out) and i seen the part where if i have a CAI or true dual i will need custom tune. Does this mean i need the tow tune to be custom as well?

And i read where 88racing described his tunes being 87 perf. custom with max economy. I want the same thing but do i put that on the order form somewhere or is that already implied?

Oh yeah one last thing this one might have to be answered by Bill, but do you think the custom shift point will make the shifting easier.

I guess ill wait till the end of the week if bill fixes edge's problem then ill get the gryphon but if he cant by the end of the week ill go with the Xcal 3.

With your mods it may be in your best intrest to customize the tow tune also.

Though I see this post is from the a while back I figure if you have not gotten one yet you might find this helpful or anyone else for that matter.
I got this from the mad doctor "Bill"

Gryphon HP/TQ at rear wheels

These are the average gains we see on the F150...

4.6L
87 Octane - 18 HP & 30 Ft./Lbs.
93 Octane - 25 HP & 40 Ft./Lbs.

5.4L
87 Octane - 25 HP & 35 Ft./Lbs.
93 Octane - 35 HP & 45 Ft./Lbs.

Addition of a CAI or the "snorkel" mod will generally see a gain in the area of 5-8 HP.
