As if we weren't already crazy busy before! We've had dozens of calls since February asking about the CS and CTS, so I'm sure it's going to be (in a good way, of course!).

We have a CS in the Expy and will be putting a CTS in the 7.3L PSD. My heart is with the original Gryphon, but the CS and the CTS are really sweet! I love that you can change the backgrounds!

I know what you mean, I've kinda gotten to like my current gryphon because I finally got the colors to match the neon. Does the color screen show up well in sunlight on the CS? I know my older computer's screen would have trouble with glare while the the gryphon works in all light conditions. Also does it fit in the same pod as the older gryphon?

Oh, and have you guys considered a CS upgrade from the old gryphon? Might be a good idea for later on if business slows...always want to keep an ace up your sleeve.

So are you able to sell the CS and CTS's for the 09-10 yet.

If yes. i already submitted an orderform for it like you(groovy) told me to on the phone. Do i need to submit another form. If not will i still get the sale price.

Is the Gryphon Pod any different then the regular Edge pod?

Also, most important question for me. A while back y'all mentioned that there may be an Upgrade offer for those who had already purchased a Gryphon. Any new news on that front? Still something y'all are considering?

Are you going to be changing the order form so that you can choose the original Gryphon, the CS Gryphon or the CTS Gryphon or should we just put it in the optional comments section if we want something other than the original.

I've seen some pictures that make the CS look like it'll fit in a regular pod but I've never seen one with my own eyes.

I also just asked the next question so I'm sure that we will be finding out eventually.

I dont think they have the order form updated yet, but that would probably work. I'm sure one of them will give us an update sometime soon.

Hey Rob,

The CS will fit in the same pod as the regular Gryphon/Evo; it's just sold as a different component because there are other mounting options available, too. As for an upgrade for current Gryphon customers, I don't think we'll be able to offer one because now that we know more about the CS and CTS, it's obvious that the Evo and CS/CTS are two entirely different programmers. Our profit on the Evo is far less than everyone probably imagines, so there's no way we could resell a trade-in and still have it be profitable. One thing I would suggest, though, if you're really interested in the CS or CTS... you could sell the Gryphon (you're welcome to use the classifieds on here, too!) to offset the cost. The prices I posted above are the minimum that any authorized Edge dealer should be selling them at, so the only thing we can discount is custom charges.

If you're just dying to get your order in, you're welcome to use the Gryphon order form and just put a note in the optional comments section that you'd like the CS or CTS.

As far as I know, they are not available yet. They are still expecting them to be released within the next couple of weeks. I'll be happy to extend the sale price to you when they ARE available.
