Default It's Christmas!

New Gryphon CS with 2 custom tunes already installed is scheduled to arrive today. .

Pretty sure I can follow the basic instructions, however because I currently have the old Gryphon in my truck now. Any special tips I should take to swap the units?

I'm guessing(basic steps) return the truck to stock before removing the old gryphon and replace it with the new? And this should all be done without turning the actual engine on?

Thanks,
Rob

Yes - to all of the above.

Set your truck back to stock and then, you can turn the key OFF. The key does NOT have to be ON when you plug in the CS. (It will tell you to do so after it is connected, no rush though).

The first time you load a program, it will save the stock file, then, you MAY go through a kind of confusing key OFF/ON sequence before it asks about "Custom Options" - you should definitely say NO to that the first time around and then it will load the program, very quickly too.

Stay away from Fusion until Bill gets some things ironed out.

Yup, I've read the horror stories. It's ok to connect to MyStyle though right?

Couple questions. Well for one, it has 1 wrong tune on it(91 performance instead of 87 tow ) but I've already contacted Corey about this. 2 other questions I have regard the PID's and changing the "bar" colors.

How do you changing the different PID's that show up on the screen? I wasn't able to find any options to do this.

And how do you change the colors of the bar? Wasn't able to find a way to do this in MyStyle or on the CS unit. It clearly states this can be done but I can't seem to figure out how to. :|

Hey LonestarROB. I was confused on that too when I first got my CS. You need to be on the screen with the gauges on it and hit the enter button. You should then be able to choose which gauge you want to change and going through the process will allow you to also change the color.

Ahh, thanks! Ok, now is it ok to just remove the CS from truck and do the MyStyle thing, or do I need to set the truck back to stock first? Need to change background screen again anyway. My custom one was an epic failure. lol

Rob,

We built your files based on what you entered on your order form. (See attached.) This information was also on the invoice which you received and subsequently paid.

As for changing backgrounds, you do not need to return to stock. All that is handle independently of the programming file system so everything will be just fine.

Take care.

Bill, please checkout this thread in which Corey said back on April 29th "I will get your order changed(91 performance to 87 tow) and your programmer sent out as soon as I can after they arrive!."

Thread Link.

We'd looked through all of our e-mails and couldn't find a request. Our fault, Rob. Bill will get a new one written this weekend and loaded onto Fusion for you.
