HEX code
This maybe a dumb question but I just got my CS today and Im wondering where to look to find my HEX code? I tried the "search this forum" feature on here and it said no results found.

Ahhhh ok, you have to plug it in and get it like that. I couldnt find an explanation anywhere so I was looking at the serial numbers and stuff on the unit.

Yes,
Plug it in to the truck and it might pop up on the first screen once the key is on but no engine run. Press menu>>>>>goto help>>>>goto vehicle information. It should be a series of seven numbers and letters. Like this xxxxxxx.hex for gas vehicles.

I did as you suggested and found nothing that ended in .HEX
This is what I found... Vehicle info VIN:1FTPW14574KB69208 CalibrationECM:RXAP9B6 and, for good measure... Product info MSP430Version:55301 Firmware Version:2.0.3605 Calibration Version:2.3590.993 Serial#:200027369
