Gryphon™ CS and CTS Programmer Post here if you have a question or comment about the Gryphon CS (Color Screen) or CTS (Color Touch Screen) Programmer.

AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR CUSTOM TUNES, DO NOT PLUG YOUR PROGRAMMER BACK INTO FUSION, OR YOUR CUSTOM TUNES WILL BE ERASED!

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CONNECT TO FUSION FOR EDGE'S LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE, YOU WILL ERASE YOUR CUSTOM TUNES!

It sounds like you MAY have downloaded your custom tunes OK. With the unit mounted in your truck, go to [Help]->[Device Info]. Look at the Calibration Version - if it looks something like: n.0000.nnnn or n.0000.nnn (where the middle numbers are all "zero"), you have custom tunes installed.

No, he notifies you through email that your tunes have been uploaded onto Edge's server and then you download and install them on your CS or CTS using Fusion. (You have to have a "Fusion account" to do this, but it sounds like you DID establish one).

It's possible that the second time you connected your CS to Fusion, it replaced the custom tunes with canned ones again. That's what it will do and I've put up several posts on this problem in the past.

Regardless, you're going to have to get hold of Bill and ask him to put your tunes up on the Fusion server again. It's the only way you're going to get them.

Edit: One other question though. When the CS boots up (when you start your truck), do you see a PHP splash screen or do you see an Edge splash screen? If the screen is PHP's Bill MAY have created a "workaround" for the custom tune overwrite problem. The fact that you have four digits at the end of the calibration COULD mean you have custom tunes too. If you see PHP's screen, the tunes should be custom.

the backgound it still edge's and the tune names are the same tow, race and extreme.
see when i first got the cs i installed the sofware and i made my fusion account and then it asked me to do the update right away so i did. then about 3 weeks later my pc crashed, so i fixed it and had to reinstall my fusion software and then when i pluged in my cs last night it asked me to do a update again and thats as far as i got.

OK, and I just talked to Bill. You WILL have to call him then to reset your tunes on the Fusion server. There is a fix for the overwrite problem in the works, but it is not in place yet.
