My truck had not been started for a couple day, got in yesterday and noticed the Gryphon was on. Hit the ignition and the battery was low and would not turn over. Jumped the truck and pulled it up to the garage and put the charger on it. went back out 15 min later and the gryphon was on again. I have had the unit for over a year and never had this happen. Any suggestions on how to fix it.

I'm almost willing to bet that your battery is dying and it's causing the flaky Gryphon behavior/operation.
I would have the battery load tested and PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FLASH YOUR TRUCK UNTIL YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A SOLID BATTERY (or use a battery tender during the process). Did you disconnect the Gryphon before you jump started your truck?

My 08 was doing this also....Gryphon staying on after engine was off..yep..check the battery..If you have to jump the vehicle, disconnect the cable from the OBD port first..TRUST ME!!!!!!
