Default Battery strength to load/unload tune

Excuse my ignorance. I've read this somewhere but can't find it. When loading a tune, what should the battery strength be at the least?

I doubt anyone has said exactly how much battery is needed, but if it is anywhere below the normal 12 volts I would be worried. if you are in doubt, dont do anything until you know your battery is good!

I wouldn't attempt if it any lower than 12.3V.

Cool thanks. The CS reads 14.x or something, so I should be good.

it should only read 14.x when the alternator is going, you should check it with the engine off and see what it says.

Yep - notice the top of the chart - off load and charge for 2+ hours.

IMHO, an inexpensive battery tender is the only way to make absolutely sure you don't half-bake your PCM during a re-flash.

Very cheap insurance and warm-fuzzy.
