Default Gryphon CS question

I've been saving up (and buttering up my wife) for the purchase of a Gryphon with custom tunes. I was all set on the standard Gryphon with dash pod until I started looking more into the CS. I really like the color display and the suction cup mount. My question is are these the only differences between the CS and standard Gryphon? Tune wise they would both be the same, correct?? Sorry if this is a dumb question......

For your truck, the tunes would be the same.

IIRC some of the Gryphon's PIDs (i.e., average MPG) are not available on the CS, but are on the Edge Evo/Gryphon.

Awesome, thanks man. My biggest concern was that the tunes would be the same. I can live without some of the PIDs as long as the tunes are the same. I'm just in love with the look of the CS compared to the Gryphon, and the suction cup mount IMO would look better than a dash pod.

I've talked to Edge about the mileage PIDs, and they are on the slate to get included. Not sure when, but I've been helping them with the code so I know it's not too far off.

Around this area of the country anything with a suction cup attachment is an invitation for the meth heads to do a smash and grab, You loose a window along with it. They think it's a GPS and a easy sell.
My dash pod looks great and you have to really look to see it's not a built in. In MHOP it makes it safer. I also like the viewing position.

Thanks for the update Bill!! Hopefully I'll be ordering my CS sooner rather than later. I just got to butter my wife up a bit more first since I just purchased and installed a si/do magnaflow system. Gotta let the waters settle a bit I think........ But a CS is next on my list!!!

Thanks for the tip man. I currently have my xm on a suction cup mount, but I see where it could be an easy target for theft. How well does your CS fit into the dash pod? Any pictures? I know the CTS sticks out of the pod a bit, which I don't like.

BigTerp,
Sorry for not getting back to you before now.
been distracted by a major illness in the family.
I have some pics on another computer. will get the up and on for you.
The CS fits the pod really snug. I have found that you can vary the depth of installation about 1/2" maybe more. I have mine set flush, it looks a little cleaner to me.
I also have some pics of e-fan installation I will post.
Get em as soon as I get a chance.
