Gryphon™ CS and CTS Programmer Post here if you have a question or comment about the Gryphon CS (Color Screen) or CTS (Color Touch Screen) Programmer.

AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD YOUR CUSTOM TUNES, DO NOT PLUG YOUR PROGRAMMER BACK INTO FUSION, OR YOUR CUSTOM TUNES WILL BE ERASED!

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU CONNECT TO FUSION FOR EDGE'S LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE, YOU WILL ERASE YOUR CUSTOM TUNES!

Default Noob question

Stats: 2009 Ford f-150 screw, automatic tran, magflow catback

I purchased and just received my Gryphon/Edge Evolution CTS. I got two tunes, the economy 87 and 91 octanes.

Question: Now what?

Do I have to hook the Edge up to the PC and let Fusion update it? Or can I simply plug it up to my truck and enjoy?

IF your tunes are already installed on the CTS, DO NOT connect it to Fusion! That will set the tunes back to "canned". If you have custom tunes, install the CTS on your truck following the directions.

But, I can't see how you'd have custom tunes installed yet. Bill needs your "calibration" code before he can write the tunes. Unless you've given it to him, you do not have custom tunes. If this is the case:
1. Install Fusion on your PC.
2. Start Fusion and create an account with Edge (the actual supplier of the CTS).
3. Once your account is created, plug the CTS into the PC with Fusion running and let Fusion download and install any software updates it has ready.
4. Finally, take the CTS to your truck and install it there, following the directions.
5. Make a note of your calibration code once you get the CTS installed on your truck and make sure PHP has it so they can create your custom tunes.

Jack,

Hey, thanks for the info. It help to buttress the thought my Edge hadn't been programmed yet. I'm plugging it up right now and will try to get the calibration code to Bill asap.

Thanks again!
