Clap CS and CTS Firmware Updates v2.3

Edge has released a firmware update for the CS and CTS. The v2.3 has added some new PIDs. Installed the firmware this afternoon and got a pleasant surprise. One of the new PIDs on my 2005 SD is the FICM voltage. They also added ICP voltage and an Injection Pressure PID that I can't remember the exact terms used. I believe there were a couple more that I don't remember. Glad to see the FICM Voltage PID as it will be handy info. if thinking there might be a problem with the FICM.

Still running my Gryphon CTS as a stock Edge version as been saving money to get different FICM to ship to PHP to be reprogrammed and have some custom tunes made.

Default CS and CTS Firmware Updates v2.3

Do you know if that is just for the PSD, or if it applies to the V8 as well?

Not sure if only for PSD. Went to Edge website to try and find out but couldn't find it. Had seen the info on another forum about update and since I only have canned tunes right now, I didn't figure I had anything to loose. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Default CS and CTS Firmware Updates v2.3

No problem and thanks for looking into it for me. I actually found out this morning that there is a 2.3.4### firmware for the V8. It's a long story that I will post details for later.

Well, since the nice news from about the update I thought I'd try the 2.3update for a CTS that I'm running in an '01 F350 7.3 to see if there were any new PIDs, and it turns out there were a few. I previously had v2.2 Here's the new ones I found: Exhaust Back Pressure, Trans Fluid Temp Old99(not sure, but perhaps for Early 99 trucks??), and WGC duty cycle. EBP is a nice addition, I haven't ran around with the wastegate duty cycle PID yet.

For anyone prospective 7.3 CTS owners wondering, here are the PIDs that I had available beforehand:
Throttle Position %
Battery Voltage
Corrected Vehicle speed
Engine Oil Temp
Engine RPMs
Gear and TC lock
Injection pressure regulator duty cycle
Injection control pressure
Injection pulsewidth
Intake Air Temp
Manifold Absolute Pressure
Transmission fluid temp
Turbo boost

If needed, we are also able to include additional custom PIDs for customers that require more information. EBP, FICM output voltage, and others are available. We'll also be including SOI Timing for the 7.3L and 6.0L very soon, something that no other scan tool on the market offers.

If you're interested in what other PID inputs are available, let me know and I can provide an expanded list of what we can offer.

Take care.
Maybe a little more than you asked for but it doesn't hurt to list all of them.
